Administrative Pastor
 
Gordon’s main areas of responsibility include connecting new people to Bear Valley, new members and adult classes.
 
He and his wife, Kathy, moved to Lakewood from California in 2003 when he was beginning to retire from his business. They have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
 
Gordon became a Christian, as a boy, at the New Jersey seashore. After receiving his BS and MS Chemical Engineering degrees from Virginia Tech and Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, he worked in engineering, marketing and management in the semiconductor chip industry before being in management and having his own business in the commercial coffee equipment industry.
 
During his time in California, God placed him in leadership roles in a start up church, a medium size church and a megachurch. With extensive small group and adult class experience, Gordon is passionate about getting people connected here at Bear Valley to grow in their faith, and works closely with the various ministries to see that it happens.
