Home Starter Kits
For Japan
BVC is collecting items for “Home Starter Kits” to support our Japanese neighbors devastated in the earthquakes and tsunami. The city of Kaimashi alone lost over 6000 houses. Families are moving from the shelters which provided them with clothing and bedding to take with them to temporary housing. For the kits we are asking that items be provided in sets of 3 (3 plates, bowls, towels, etc.) as most Japanese families have 3 people: Mom, Dad and a child. No glass please!
